Senior Project Manager – Security Systems
OHM Security (a subsidiary of Scarlet Security & Risk Group), is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of complex security system projects across enterprise and institutional environments. This role is responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of multi-disciplinary workstreams while ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and internal governance. The successful candidate will bring strong project leadership capabilities and hands-on experience managing projects involving Avigilon Unity video surveillance platforms.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security system projects from initiation through close-out
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting cadence, and escalation processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures
- Coordinate task sequencing, dependencies, and milestones
- Manage parallel workstreams and resource allocation
- Track progress and implement corrective actions as required
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Oversee site activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
- Manage access planning, logistics, and site constraints
- Support commissioning, testing, and project handover activities
- Provide project oversight for Avigilon Unity video surveillance deployments
- Coordinate system staging, commissioning, and cutover activities
- Liaise with engineering and IT stakeholders to ensure system readiness
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and mitigation strategies
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments
- Resolve issues through structured escalation and stakeholder engagement
- Support procurement planning and long-lead item tracking
- Monitor project costs and support financial forecasting
- Ensure alignment between approved scope and delivered work
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reports
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and logs
- Support final documentation, training coordination, and close-out activities
Qualifications
- 8+ years of project management experience delivering technical or infrastructure projects
- Experience managing projects involving Avigilon Unity video surveillance systems
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Strong scheduling and project controls capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering enterprise-class security systems or low-voltage infrastructure projects (preferred)
- Exposure to healthcare, institutional, or regulated environments (preferred)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with enterprise IT or network-connected systems (preferred)
- Structured and disciplined approach to project delivery
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity
- Collaborative leadership style with clear accountability
- Comfortable operating in client-facing and executive-visible roles

The role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, with consideration given to candidates residing in or near Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham, or Richmond Hill.
