Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist

Pay Rate: CAD $60- CAD $70/hr

Seeking Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialists to support multiple enterprise-level digital health initiatives. The role focuses on system, integration, and automation testing across complex UI and backend environments in Agile delivery teams.

• Develop testing strategies, test plans, estimates, and execution schedules
• Perform functional, system integration, API, and backend testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test data
• Execute manual and automated testing; track, report, and manage defects
• Collaborate with project, development, and testing leads across delivery phases
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality improvement

• 6-8+ years of experience in system testing and test automation, preferably in healthcare or clinical systems
• Strong experience with UI and web services automation tools (e.g., Selenium, SOAPUI, JIRA, data-driven testing)
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API testing, OAuth2 authentication, and JWT
• Experience working with ORACLE/SQL databases, ETL processes, and test data creation
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR messaging standards
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Git Lab)

• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA)
• Programming knowledge for test automation
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Public sector or large enterprise project experience
