About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Service Now Configurator for our client. In this role, you will design, configure, and implement Service Now solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality Service Now applications and modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, customize, and develop Service Now modules.
Experience in multiple modules of Service Now or atleast more than 1 module of Service Now
Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations within Service Now.
Ensure adherence to Service Now best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on platform strategy and enhancements.
Stay current with Service Now releases and new features; evaluate and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2-5 years of hands-on experience with Service Now configuration and development.
Experience in multiple modules of Service Now or atleast more than 1 module of the Service Now
Must have functional expertise in requirements gathering, writing user stories and stakeholder communication
Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server).
Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex Service Now projects.
Active Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery) a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics, Service Portal, or App Engine Studio.
Familiarity with Dev Ops tools and CI/CD practices.
