IT - Digital Product Designer - Expert

Job Description:

Digital Product Designer-Expert (Interaction Designer) for the Business Banking Credit team in Toronto, ON. The role focuses on designing internal advisor tools, with some client-facing elements, in a growing team of - designers collaborating closely with developers under tight deadlines. This
-month contract supports AI initiatives and relies heavily on design systems for visual design.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product, design, and tech partners to shape requirements for business banking credit tools.

Conduct interaction design strategy, including understanding UI patterns, facilitating ideation sessions, and providing expert guidance on inclusivity and accessibility.

Create complex low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high-velocity production designs across multiple work streams.

Work iteratively in agile environments with developers, presenting work to stakeholders and adapting to shifting priorities.

Participate in research, usability testing, and collaborative design activities to validate ideas and ensure scalability.

Must Have:

Strong UXD/Interaction Design experience with -+ years, focusing on complex projects and business/credit domains.

Proficiency in design systems, Figma for flows/mockups, and tools like Jira, Mural, PowerPoint/Keynote.

Experience partnering with developers to create implementable designs in regulated industries like finance.

Ability to grasp complex business requirements, collaborate effectively, and produce at high velocity.

Expertise in accessibility, design strategy, and stakeholder communication/presentation skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience designing AI interfaces or using AI design tools.

Background in business banking/credit or regulated sectors beyond retail/eCommerce.

Advanced prototyping/research skills and great presentation abilities.​
