We are looking to add a multifaceted and highly motivated Student Analyst, Legal Operations to join our Corporate Legal team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to support various legal operations initiatives and will interact with partners throughout the Chief Legal & Sustainability Officer group (“CLO Group”). This role will support a number of key initiatives, including system implementation and administration.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist Legal Operations Specialist with various initiatives/matters
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for internal procedures and seek opportunities for process excellence
  • Perform and operate as a user acceptance testing contact for new tools and updates of software in the Legal group
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Law Library for the OMERS legal groups including updating resources as needed
  • Supporting the regulatory tracking program by monitoring new regulations relevant to OMERS
  • Analysis of various legal agreements with the ability to extract pertinent information using Contract Lifecycle Management tools
  • You should apply if you are:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with knowledge of iManage considered an asset

    The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.

    You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
