Role – Dev Ops Sr. Project ManagerLocation – Toronto, ON (Onsite)Term:

What will you do?
MobilizationAgree resource and time commitment with senior stakeholdersDefining specific project goals, scope, budget requirements (inc. headcount and other spend)Conduct project planning workshops for each to define and refine delivery scopeProject PlanningCollaborate with stakeholders and the delivery team to break down the items of work and develop an executable Project Plan - with milestones described on an outcome basis in plain languageDeveloping a Resource Plan – , the required skills and team compositionDocumenting and maintaining Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies in a formal RAID logIdentifying the Critical Path, , what is the sequence of sequential activities that has the greatest bearing on timelines and hence must remain on-trackProject DeliveryWork closely with application teams and solution engineers to coordinate and drive migrations and ensure deliverables are delivered on-timeIdentify potential blockers/ risks, capture in RAID, and eliminate (and/ or escalating as needed)Collaborate with Dev team and Enterprise Dev Ops team to ensure automation and features are in place to drive efficient migration, address any gaps and concerns from app teams in a timely mannerDefining appropriate Performance Metrics; monitor to provide visibility on delivery against agreed outcomesGovernance & CommunicationsProducing Project Status Reports and communicating to stakeholders in a formal governance forum, on a recurring basis ( monthly)Status reporting to include:
Qualitative and quantitative updates in progress on a weekly and monthly basis, and objectives for next month Delivery tracking against milestones with RAG status Performance Metrics Key Risks and IssuesRegularly communicating internally to the team on progress and ensuring everyone aligns and commit to the migration planWhat do you need to succeed?
Minimum RequirementsAbility to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, and manage deadlines while balancing competing priorities.Strong organizational and communication skills, detail-orientedEffective stakeholder & relationship management, and strong collaboration+ years of working on medium-to-high complexity initiatives with Project / Program deliveryProject Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)Experience working with multi-site and cross-functional teamsKnowledge and understanding of SDLCKnowledge and understanding of Dev Ops methodology and tools ( Artifactory, Jenkins
