On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for an Azure Dev Ops Engineer for a 5-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

- Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Azure Dev Ops Engineer to enhance and manage our CI/CD processes for cloud-native applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role involves deploying, managing, and optimizing applications in the Azure cloud to improve government service delivery across the state.

Azure Dev Ops Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment in AKS.

• Manage and automate infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates.

• Implement Kubernetes-based container orchestration for applications in AKS.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Dev Ops practices.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.

• Manage Helm charts and pipeline scripts for Kubernetes deployments.

• Set up and maintain Azure Dev Ops pipelines, including custom scripting.

Azure Dev Ops Engineer - Mandatory

Skills:



• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer with Azure and AKS.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI/CD.

• Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker containerization.

• Strong knowledge of Terraform or ARM Templates for IaC.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Power Shell, or Python.

• Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

• Solid understanding of Azure services such as AAD, VNets, and Azure Storage.

Azure Dev Ops Engineer – Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• Microsoft Certified:
Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.

• Experience with Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes Service Mesh technologies like Istio.

• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault and Azure Policy.

• Experience with serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
