Our client is Canada's largest retaier, the healthcare pharmacy portfolio is looking for an Intermediate Data Scientist with SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to unlock insights from their platform data.
Times a week onsite: 2 times a week.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our product team and help us unlock insights from our platform data. This role will focus on analyzing user behavior, engagement trends, and operational metrics to measure and improve the success of our platform. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define KPIs, build dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets from our platform to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to improve on.Develop models and statistical analyses to understand user engagement and platform performance.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, time saved, adoption rates, and retention.Create frameworks for measuring product successBuild dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.Present findings in a clear, actionable manner to influence product decisions.Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to validate product changes.Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into measurable outcomes.Work with Engineering to ensure data quality and accessibility.Must Have – Key Requirements
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a product environment.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Experience with s
tatistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into business insights.
