How you’ll make an impact:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student intern to join our IT Architecture team. This internship provides hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, system/data design, and technology strategy. You will collaborate with experienced architects to support initiatives that shape the organization’s technology landscape.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, models, and documentation.
  • Support analysis of business and technical requirements for new solutions.
  • Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Help maintain architecture repositories and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for assessment.
  • Contribute to presentations and documentation for architecture governance meetings and projects.
  • What we’re looking for:

  • You are working towards a university degree in Computer Science or Computer/Mechatronic/System Design Engineering - ideally in your 2st or 3rd year of study.
  • Foundational knowledge on developing and deploying applications and services in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • You have a strong understanding of system architecture concepts (Monolithic vs Microservices)
  • You have previous knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Perl and Linux/Unix shell would be an asset.
  • Experience working in an agile/kanban environment using JIRA/Confluence is preferred.
  • You must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term

    This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate IT hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $29.00
    , based on experience and qualifications.
