Performance Test Automation, Senior Specialist

Who You Will Work With:
The vacant Performance Test Automation, Senior Specialist will report to the Practice Leader, Quality Engineering and will support with automation testing on a number of key projects.
What You Will Do:
Planning and executing performance testing activities.
Identifying performance bottlenecks and issues.
Collaborating with development and QA teams to optimize application performance.
Designing and implementing performance test plans.
Executing load, stress, and scalability tests.
Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.
Being acquainted with industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing. Developing NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed.
What You Bring:
Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, Performance testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.
Experience in the creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks including management of test reporting.
Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)
Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline.
Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript.
Knowledge of Selenium Web Driver.
API testing using POST man or similar.
Knowledge with web applications architecture, APIs, SQL and No
SQL databases
Knowledge and experience with Git/Stash
Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, Bamboo
Knowledge and experience of micro-services architecture regarding integration and functional automation tests
Agile team and methodology experience;
Kanban experience is desirable.
Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
What We’re Offering:
The hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
