Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on SAP Integrated Product Development (IPD) Functional Consultant to support our SAP S/4

HANA Cloud greenfield transformation. This role will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the IPD module to support streamlined product lifecycle management across R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams in a mid-sized, fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze product development and lifecycle management requirements.
• Solution Configuration: Configure the SAP IPD module to meet business needs related to product data, recipes, specifications, and document management.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other modules such as SAP PLM, Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Functional Documentation: Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, and training materials.
• Testing & Validation: Support test script creation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution during system implementation.
• User Training & Support: Assist in delivering end-user training, knowledge transfer, and hypercare support post go-live.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance system functionality and usability.

The Recipe for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP PLM/IPD or SAP S/4
  
  HANA product development modules.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, especially in manufacturing or CPG industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps for Product Development and Engineering Records.
• Working knowledge of SAP’s integration with document management and change record systems.
• Experience in a mid-sized enterprise undergoing ERP transformation.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, HACCP, ISO) within food or process manufacturing.
• Agile or hybrid project delivery methodology experience.
• SAP Activate methodology familiarity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Independent, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
