Position Details: The AWS Data Engineer will develop, configure, enhance, and support HCCA AWS solutions. Working closely within a small development team and collaborating with the AWS Architects and Business Managers, the primary focus of this role is to support and enhance AWS solutions that serve lending operations. The official title of this role will be AWS Solutions Manager.

• Develop and enhance AWS product solutions, including but not limited to Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Cloud Watch, S3, AWS Connect, Pinpoint, Athena, and Redshift.
• Investigate and resolve defects during QA and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues by monitoring JIRA logs. Work with end users, business analysts, and vendor help desk personnel to determine the root cause.
• Create data dictionaries and proper documentation for data warehouse and reporting tasks.
• Assist and perform deployments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 5+ years of related experience in developing data pipelines on AWS.
• Strong programming skills with Python, Java, and SQL.
• Data warehousing, lakes, and streaming architecture experience.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance implementation.
• Prior automotive or consumer finance industry experience preferred.
• JIRA experience is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Excellent AWS skills with strong SQL, Python, and PySpark development aptitude.
• Understanding of data warehousing design principles and ETL development.
• Proficient in SDLC and data governance practices.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
