We are currently seeking a SAP Ariba Functional Lead for our Toronto, Ontario office (Canada).

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to lead the implementation and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions as part of a strategic procurement transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical expertise across Ariba modules and strong integration knowledge with SAP S/4

HANA or ECC. This role requires hands‑on configuration, project leadership, and close collaboration with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation from requirement gathering through design, configuration, testing, and go‑live.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture procurement, sourcing, and supplier management requirements.
• Design and configure Ariba modules (Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Buying and Invoicing, Catalog Management, Spend Analysis, Guided Buying).
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4
  
  HANA or ECC (MM, FI, CO) using SAP Cloud Integration Gateway or middleware tools.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flow diagrams, test scripts, and training documentation.
• Lead and coordinate testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and manage issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, finance, IT, suppliers) to align Ariba solutions with business goals.
• Manage data migration, supplier enablement, and catalog setup.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, user training, and stabilization assistance.
• Stay current with SAP Ariba innovations and best practices, advising business on optimization opportunities.
• Support project governance, ensuring timely deliverables aligned with SAP Activate methodology or Agile frameworks.

• 12+ years of experience in Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Source‑to‑Contract (S2C), or Supplier Management domains.
• Minimum 2 end‑to‑end SAP Ariba implementations, preferably in a lead role.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two Ariba modules (e.g., Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP).
• Strong understanding of integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP/S/4
  
  HANA using CIG or PI/PO.
• In‑depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes using SAP Ariba functionalities.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and project lifecycle management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Experience leading cross‑functional and global teams.

• SAP Ariba Certification(s) in one or more modules.
• Experience with multi‑country deployments or global rollouts.
• Exposure to SAP S/4
  
  HANA Procurement, Central Procurement, or Fieldglass.
• Understanding of supplier onboarding, catalog content management, and network integration.
• Experience with Spend Analysis and reporting dashboards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an added advantage.
