Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – positionIntroduction:
We are seeking a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) to join our Vitality Spark squad and facilitate agile processes within our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing multiple JIRA boards and will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication, support, and guidance for the teams. This position requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrum Facilitation: Guide and coach the team on Scrum practices and principles to ensure effective delivery of projects. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Work with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog.JIRA Management: Manage multiple JIRA boards to track and report on sprint progress and team performance. Customize JIRA workflows to improve efficiency and transparency across teams. Analyze JIRA metrics to identify areas for improvement.Team Support and Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Identify and address any impediments that may hinder team progress. Encourage continuous improvement and self-organization within the team.Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication between engineering teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies. Facilitate the resolution of conflicts and issues within the team.Agile
Coaching:
Mentor team members on agile methodologies and best practices. Promote agile mindset and principles across the organization. Support the organization in agile transformation initiatives.Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.Strong proficiency in using JIRA for agile project management.Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in scaling agile practices in larger organizations (, SAFe, LeSS).Background in software development or a related technical field.Familiarity with other agile project management tools.
