Location: Toronto, ON

Work Mode: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)

We are looking for a highly skilled Talend Developer to design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows supporting enterprise data integration initiatives  ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on Talend expertise, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend Data Integration
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud sources
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
• Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data pipeline issues
• Work closely with BI teams and data analysts to support reporting and analytics
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for data flows and ETL processes

• Strong expertise in Talend Data Integration (ETL development)
• Excellent SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
• Hands‑on experience with EBCDIC files and Talend Data Mapper
• Experience integrating data using APIs, flat files, and cloud data sources
• Proven ability to optimize ETL workflows
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Experience working in Agile environments
