Hiring salary range: $2,064.34 - $3,189.88 / bi-weekly

Job Description

The successful applicant will help plan, develop, and support sales‑related applications and IT solutions along with related processes and sales support at Acronym Solutions Inc.

General Accountabilities
  • Maintain complex enterprise application systems – Salesforce, Service Now and Microsoft Dynamics, and their integration; relate the functionality directly to the sales team.
  • Provide front‑line technical support to the sales department.
  • Produce technical documentation.
  • Assist sales with entering, revising and remediating orders.
  • Participate in large‑scale enterprise IT projects as a sales representative.
  • Interface with other units as required.
  • Provide other sales support as required.
Professional Development

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with sales functional management to demonstrate the practical delivery of sales‑related software and how it is implemented (reporting to sales and not IT). They will learn how to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment, work as part of a functional and project team using both written and verbal communication skills, and gain practical experience with software tools used in the telecom industry such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Visio, Excel, Word, and various database platforms.

They will see how a commercial service provider operates from a sales functional perspective, gain hands‑on experience operating the tools that support a customer‑focused, revenue‑generating company, develop skills in technical documentation, and participate in enterprise software implementation and integration projects.

Selection Criteria
  • 3rd or 4th year Computer Science, IT, or related business program.
  • Understanding of Salesforce and MS Dynamics and how to use them.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts.
  • Experience working in a team on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with IT systems.
  • Experience producing technical and performance reports using software such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, and the Office suite.
  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer commitment.
  • Demonstration of time‑management skills.
  • Team and individual problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
  • Ability to create new processes – design, document and deliver processes and training.
