We’re looking for a Dev Ops Engineer who loves ownership, automation, and impact to directly power a fast‑growing product. In this role, you’ll design resilient, high‑performing systems and raise the bar on reliability, security, and observability across the platform. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, data, testing, and security, partnering closely with teams to streamline deployments, strengthen compliance, and respond decisively to critical issues when they matter most.

From building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code to applying best‑in‑class Dev Ops practices, you’ll have the autonomy to shape how we build and operate in the cloud. • Own and scale Zay Zoon’s AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using Cloud Formation, build CI/CD pipelines and manage existing infrastructure stacks.
• Optimize our Postgre
  
  SQL databases for high availability and performance.
• Improve monitoring and observability, ensuring detection and proactive resolution of issues.
• Design secure, SOC‑2 and cybersecurity‑compliant, scalable cloud services in AWS.
• Evaluate and remediate Critical and High CVEs across all our services on a moment’s notice.
• Work cross‑functionally across multiple teams such as development, data, testing, and security to convey concepts, build understanding, and improve deployment processes.
• Apply Dev Ops best practices in everything you do.

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or an equivalent high‑level language (Go, Ruby, etc.).
• Knowledge of Bash and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Experience with Cloud Formation or other IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.
• Experience with Cloud Watch, Elastic Container Services (ECS) on Fargate, Code Pipeline, and native deployments.
• Experience building efficient CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions or an equivalent.
• Ability to deep dive into Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail logging and other logging tooling such as Athena to investigate problems.
• Experience migrating compute from Intel to ARM architecture.
