VXG is seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to join our team and help build reliable, automated, and scalable infrastructure for our cutting‑edge video software platform. You will play a key role in streamlining deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting across AWS and Kubernetes environments, ensuring that our systems remain robust, secure, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Automate the installation and deployment of VXG software on customers infrastructure - AWS and Kubernetes.
- Install and maintain Kubernetes deployments on customers infrastructure - private data centres, on‑premises servers.
- Build and maintain scripts to configure, test, and optimize our solutions.
- Continuously improve deployment pipelines with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Implement and enforce best practices for security, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD practices and support smooth releases and updates for all customers.
- Maintenance of production deployments, upgrades, health monitoring of services, and working with software engineers on new metrics to increase observability.
- Strong experience with configuration management systems (Ansible) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Helm Charts, Cloud Formation).
- Expertise with Git administration and CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI).
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS services: EC2, Auto Scaling, Cloud Watch, RDS, S3, Cloud Formation.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Experience with Semaphore UI.
- Familiarity with VMWare vSphere.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Understanding of network technologies and protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, TLS).
- Knowledge of software build tools: GNU Make, Meson, Autotools, SCons, Gradle.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Zabbix).
- Hands‑on experience managing centralized logging systems (ELK stack).
