Base pay range: CA $71,145.00/yr - CA$/yr

Reporting to the Director, Head of Security Operations, you will:

• Design, develop, implement and administrate cloud security technologies to support MUFG applications and technology solutions.
• Design, implement and manage data governance and security frameworks to proactively discover, classify, and protect sensitive information across the entire organization’s digital estate through Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and tools, utilizing Microsoft Purview.
• Implement and administrate Microsoft Azure core security which includes Defender for Cloud, Azure Activity Logs, Conditional Access Policies.
• Interpret secure score and implement the provided security recommendations to harden cloud resources, and identify misconfigurations and compliance violations against known security frameworks and standards.
• Perform Security Monitoring from multiple monitoring sources including firewalls, SIEM and other supporting security tools, identifying events that meet certain criteria, performing incident response activities or escalating them to, and working with, other support teams.
• Participate in Security Incident Response to information security related incidents and work with relevant parties to resolve them.
• Take part in Vulnerability Assessments which involve identifying security weaknesses in infrastructure and systems, assessing the weaknesses and communicating them to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Contribute to Risk Management by identifying security risks across the application estate and the infrastructure and support the IT support team members in remediating those risks.
• Ensure systems are protected by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Implement and administrate AWS Core Security which includes, but is not limited to, Security Groups, Guard Duty, Cloud Trail and WAF.

• 4+ Years of Experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or other related Security-type role.
• 2+ Years of Experience with Microsoft DLP & Microsoft Purview.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security for cloud-based systems as well as applications in Azure.
• Experience with vulnerability management and VM tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, and Microsoft Defender or similar.
• Experience with technologies such as SIEM, Firewall, XDR and Cloud Security environments.
• Experience in malware detection, analysis and removal.

• Cloud Security Certifications.
• Other Certifications such as SIEM Solutions, Vulnerability Scan Platform, SANS GIAC, OSCP, CISSP.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and typical defense mechanisms.
• Experience with Information security risk assessments, application security, and information systems audit.
• Experience with core AWS Infrastructure Service, including Security.
