Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure, the Sr. Dev Ops Engineer will provide technical leadership and hands‑on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud and on‑premises network infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives related to cloud connectivity, network operations, automation and infrastructure as code, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with organizational objectives.
What You Will Do- Lead technical endeavors, providing vision and guidance for network and cloud projects.
- Demonstrate an engineering mindset, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Act as a team player, collaborating effectively across teams and mentoring junior staffers to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
- Perform operational network maintenance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and ensuring network reliability and performance.
- Design, implement, and support AWS Cloud network connectivity, including Transits, inter‑org peering and Direct Connects.
- Architect and manage Azure Cloud network connectivity, including Express Routes and Virtual WAN.
- Develop and maintain Dev Ops pipelines for network automation and infrastructure deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage and optimize Cisco networking environments (SDWAN, switching, routing, wireless, Catalyst Center, Viptella).
- Deploy and support Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, Prisma Access, and cloud‑focused AIOPs.
- Integrate Service Now and DNA Center for network automation and orchestration.
- Support hyperconverged infrastructure for on‑premises storage and compute.
- Develop automation scripts using Power Shell and Python.
- Ensure all operations and configuration are compliant with the organizational policies and standards.
- Work with our information security teams to ensure that all configurations and processes are secure in compliance with infosec and industry controls.
- Participate in after‑hours deployments as needed to ensure infrastructure readiness for the next business day.
- Participate in a shared on‑call rotation that includes weekend and holiday support within the team to support critical issues when needed.
- 6+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 3 years in enterprise network engineering and Dev Ops roles.
- Proven expertise with AWS and Microsoft Azure Network connectivity, including Transits, Direct Connects, VPC Peering, Express Routes and Virtual WAN, UDR’s, etc.
