Description:
- Collaborate with Network Designer to deploy Next Generation LAN and WAN at MOH PSAP locations.
- Design and configure SD-WAN policies and templates.
- Create high-level and detailed network design documents.
- Configure switches, routers, and firewalls according to the network design.
- Implement dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) on SD-WAN and firewall devices.
- Physically install SD-WAN routers, LAN switches, and high-availability firewalls.
- Develop and execute plans for HVAC, power, UPS, generator, and related equipment remediation.
- Develop and enforce firewall policies.
- Create centralized and localized traffic and application-aware routing policies.
- Test configurations and troubleshoot network issues.
- Develop and implement QoS policies for LAN and WAN.
- Deploy configurations into the network inventory database.
- Coordinate with facility SMEs and cable designers for facility remediation.
- Configure Palo Alto Cloud logging.
- Maintain and support the network environment during the pilot phase.
- Assist with configuration management automation using Ansible and other tools.
- Install and configure Aruba Clear Pass as an identity management solution.
- Install and configure out-of-band management firewalls across PSAP locations.
- Perform other related project duties as required.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
Core Skills (50%)
- Cisco 9K, SD-WAN (Viptela) configuration, migration, troubleshooting
- Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama setup and operation
- VMware and general networking operations
- Expertise in IP routing and Layer 2 switching with Cisco 9K switches
- Windows and Unix OS administration
- Configuration management using automation tools (Jenkins/Ansible), API scripting, Docker, ELK/Elastiflow, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, DNS (e.g., Infoblox)
Technical Skills (30%)
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience with Palo Alto technologies (Panorama, XDR)
- Experience supporting 24x7 critical environments and operations
Communication and Analytical Skills (20%)
- Ability to work effectively in an agile, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Research skills for networking issues and product evaluation
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize under pressure
- Customer service focus with problem-solving abilities
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent network engineering experience (7-10 years)
Must Haves:
- Cisco 9K, SD-WAN (Viptela) configuration, migration, troubleshooting
- IPv6 experience
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, BGP)
