AM,
the Manager, People & Culture Coordination will be responsible for managing a team of People & Culture Coordinators (PCCs) supporting North America. The focus would be on ensuring accuracy of the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture functions to ensure our department is organized and operating efficiently. The successful candidate will also partner closely with the People Business Partners, Payroll & Benefits and People Ops team members, on employee lifecycle administration projects from onboarding, policy reviews to HRIS data integrity and reporting.

What

you’ll be responsible for:
  • Manage, train and coach our team of North American People & Culture Coordinators located in Canada and Manila (“PCCs”)
  • Supervise employee lifecycle support and administration being conducted by the PCC team (new hire paperwork, employee onboarding, role/salary changes, employee profile updates, time off management, leaves and terminations).
  • Bring a global mindset in order to create process flows that fit with the global approach
  • Define and track SLAs for the PCC team (e.g., contract turnaround times, ticket response rates in Service Now) to ensure the business receives high-quality, timely support.
  • Act as the functional "power user" for Workday, ensuring the team isn't just entering data, but auditing it for accuracy to prevent downstream payroll or reporting errors.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive "Playbook" for all P&C administrative procedures, ensuring consistency globally.
  • Beyond just "owning audits," provide regular insights to the Head of P&C on team volume, common "bottlenecks" in the employee lifecycle, and data trends.
  • Bring up new ways of working, workflows, processes focusing on efficiency
  • Oversee the coordination of employee programs being run by the PCCs that may include training, recognition, DEI, volunteering, and wellness programs
  • Review documentation being created by PCCs; for example documentation for current and future-state people processes and workflows connected to the employee lifecycle, people data, systems and technology.
  • Identify, recommend and proactively take initiative for process and workflow improvements that will allow us to scale and support our significant growth goals.
  • Support global compliance efforts through close collaboration with our Legal team.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People team and take on special People projects as needed.
What you’ll be bringing to the team:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of HR Coordinators
  • Strong project management skills and systems thinking to re-engineer workflows
  • Experience with Workday and a strong understanding of their workflows
  • Proven experience in Human Resources Operations
  • University degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to use and learn a variety of programs, including (but not limited to):
Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets/Docs, Greenhouse (ATS), Service Now (SN)
  • Strong Data Literacy and a knack for Excel
  • Familiarity with Canadian & US compliance and employment laws
  • Excellent sense of urgency, time management and organizational skills
  • As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
Even better (but not necessary) if you have:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in French
  • Experience with HR systems, handling sensitive data and sensitive documentation
Be a change maker

You’ll enjoy:

  • A flexible work environment that empowers you to do your best work
