What is the opportunity? The Sr. Manager, People Experience will play a vital part in leading employee-focused projects and initiatives, reporting directly to the Director of People Experience & Integration. In this role, you’ll contribute to the team's goals of enhancing the employee experience, focusing on retention, engagement, and growth within RBCx.

What will you do?
  • Develop and deliver career journey pathways that illustrate progression and mobility opportunities across teams and Enterprise job families.
  • Partnering with our Leaders and Senior Management Teams to understand team needs, while identifying gaps and opportunities to improve employee engagement, experience, and connection.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with RBC Enterprise teams (such as HR, Recruitment, Communications, and L&D) and RBCx teams to deliver resources, programs, and frameworks that enhance the capabilities and experiences of our teams.
  • Translating employee insights and feedback into actionable initiatives that foster retention, motivation, and inclusion, collaborating with leadership and internal partners to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Leading and refining People Experience projects, including onboarding/offboarding, employee guides, talent management enablement, learning experiences, and career mapping.
  • Driving forward our people experience data journey, designing surveys to capture feedback on our programs, building data dashboarding and providing recommendations from insights.
  • Playing a key role in planning and hosting high-energy, interactive employee forums that foster a dynamic, engaging work environment.
  • Spearheading change management and communication initiatives to ensure the smooth implementation of people programs, systems, and services, resulting in clear outcomes and positive adoption.
  • Designing and creating engaging, visually appealing, and easily digestible content for a variety of purposes, from learning and enablement to employee updates, while contributing to our internal knowledge system.
  • Providing project management support from planning, maintaining Asana and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and disseminate targeted communications to promote RBC resources, such as learning program registrations and performance year-end resources, as well as RBCx initiatives, including social events and surveys.
  • What do you need to succeed?
  • You have strong HR/People Experience background who has successfully designed and delivered career journey pathways that show progression and mobility across roles, teams, and Enterprise functions
  • You possess a solid track record in enhancing employee experience, having successfully led initiatives focused on engagement and enablement for various teams in a people focused role.
  • You approach with a growth mindset, you can pinpoint scalable opportunities, identify gaps that need attention, and drive progress through effective project management.
  • Your verbal, written and visual storytelling skills are exceptional, enabling you to synthesize complex ideas and convey messages clearly.
  • You have a passion for collecting and analyzing data to extract insights that inform purposeful initiatives and convert those insights into actionable steps.
  • You are thoughtful in your approach to designing content for employees and leaders, ensuring it is digestible, engaging & visually appealing. You pride yourself in building impactful decks and bring a design lens to your content.
