About the team + role
The People Tech & Systems team’s mission is to deliver scalable, intuitive, and secure technology that empowers Robinhood’s people and fuels business growth! We're at the intersection of operations, systems, and innovation, ensuring employees and teams have the tools they need to thrive. As a People Systems Manager, you’ll lead the charge in building and running the engine that powers Robinhood’s HR and Payroll systems.
This is a highly impactful role combining technical execution with team leadership — perfect for a player-coach who enjoys being hands-on with systems while guiding and growing a team!

What you’ll do
Lead and evolve Robinhood’s core People Systems, with a strong focus on Workday across functional and technical domainsAct as a hands-on technical leader, driving configuration, integrations, and solution design while guiding execution across your teamManage and develop a distributed team of full-time employees and contractors, fostering ownership, accountability, and growthPartner cross-functionally with HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Finance, and Engineering to deliver scalable and reliable solutionsDesign, build, and maintain integrations within the People tech stack, with deep ownership of EIB-based integrations and preferred use of Workday StudioDrive initiatives such as worker/vendor system implementations, Workday enhancements, and Workday Extend investmentsSupport global expansion and M&A through scalable People systems architectureCollaborate with AI engineering teams to shape AI-enabled capabilities across HR platformsLead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processesBuild and maintain a long-term roadmap balancing operational excellence and future innovationUphold high standards for data quality, security, privacy, and complianceWhat you bring
7+ years of progressive People Systems or HRIS experience, including 2+ years in people management4+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with strong expertise in Core HCMProven experience with Workday integrations, including EIBs (required) and Workday Studio (strongly preferred)Familiarity with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse and/or AshbyStrong project management and cross-functional collaboration skillsComfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsCuriosity and practical interest in AI, automation, and emerging HR technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and a proactive mindsetLeadership expectations
