We’re looking for a Founding Recruiter to architect and scale our hiring function. This person will partner directly with leadership to define hiring strategy, elevate talent standards, and build the systems and processes that enable Feathery to attract and close world‑class talent.

AboutThe Role
As Feathery’s Founding Recruiter, you’ll own full‑cycle recruiting across technical and go‑to‑market roles. You’ll build scalable systems, craft compelling candidate narratives, and serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and executives.
You’re equal parts strategist and operator: someone who can design the hiring roadmap while personally sourcing and closing top‑tier candidates.
What You’ll Do- Own and drive full‑cycle recruiting across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Operations roles
- Build Feathery’s recruiting infrastructure from scratch (process, tooling, scorecards, employer branding, candidate experience)
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and define org design priorities
- Develop sourcing strategies that attract exceptional, high‑caliber talent in competitive markets
- Lead structured interview processes that prioritize quality, speed, and fairness
- Build a compelling employer brand narrative that reflects Feathery’s mission and momentum
- Establish recruiting metrics and dashboards to track pipeline health, time‑to‑fill, and hiring quality
- Create an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our product quality and culture
- Help shape onboarding practices to ensure new hires ramp quickly and effectively
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in high‑growth B2B SaaS startups
- Experience building or significantly scaling recruiting at an early‑stage company
- Proven ability to hire across technical and GTM functions
- Strong sourcing capabilities and creative talent acquisition strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—you influence and partner effectively with executives and hiring managers
- Data‑driven mindset with experience tracking recruiting KPIs
- High ownership mentality—you thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
- Strong judgment for talent, culture fit, and long‑term potential
