Role Overview

At Jule, we are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a high‑impact role supporting multiple companies—each with their own unique challenges, personalities, and opportunities. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager as we build and scale a people‑first Human Resources framework from the ground up. Duties & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment across a wide range of roles, from sourcing to onboarding and everything in between.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, build role profiles, and deliver a seamless candidate experience.
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using tools like Linked In, Indeed, career fairs, employee referrals, and academic partnerships.
  • Oversee offboarding processes with professionalism and empathy, ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees.
  • Stay on top of recruitment trends and the competitive talent landscape in clean‑tech and manufacturing.

HR Operations & Systems

  • Maintain accurate employee data and records in our HRIS (Bamboo

    HR), conducting regular audits and data validation.
  • Manage system updates and documentation, ensuring users are trained and informed of changes.
  • Support HR file and folder maintenance and ensure consistent documentation practices.
  • Prepare internal communications related to system enhancements and HR process updates.
  • Assist with compliance and policy review cycles, including supporting annual attestations.

Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs that align with our culture.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles including goal setting, check‑ins, and reviews.
  • Support employee training and development programs to foster growth and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance the employee experience.
  • Analyze engagement trends and recommend improvements based on data and industry insights.

Employee Relations & Policy Guidance

  • Support managers with employee relations matters such as attendance, accommodations, and performance conversations.
  • Coach employees and leaders through workplace challenges using a people‑first approach.
  • Provide guidance on employment standards, health and safety, human rights, and relevant legislation across Canada and the U.S.
  • Assist in resolving issues with tact, diplomacy, and a high level of discretion.

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and support the annual merit and bonus planning processes.
  • Help maintain and administer benefits programs across our Canadian and U.S. operations, including renewals and open enrollment.
