The Payroll Administrator role is responsible for processing payroll and employee forms for accurate and timely salary payments, budget expenditures, for over 10,000 employees from multiple employee groups and union affiliations porting the USC's commitment to service excellence, the role holistically investigates and responds to client inquiries in a responsive, courteous, and professional manner to provide exceptional service to clients, faculty, staff, and students in a high-volume environment.

QualificationsEducation:
- Community college diploma in accounting, booking, payroll, business administration, or a related field or an equivalent of 2 years recent experience (defined as within the last three years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years' recent full cycle payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment, including calculations and processing with an in-house payroll solution, process off cycle payments, Record of Employment, and year-end processing of amendments to T4/T4A.
- Experience with People Soft.
