Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to people managers across Canada, supporting employee relations, promotions, performance management, PIPs, and business cases for talent decisions.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, managing 6–10 requisitions at a time (≈ 40 % of the role).
  • Collaborate on business partnership initiatives, supporting workforce planning, succession planning, and HR strategy (≈ 30 %).
  • Manage project‑based work, including compliance projects such as Bill 96 (Quebec) and coordination with the legal department (≈ 15 %).
  • Oversee social wellness initiatives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, corporate volunteering, social commitments, and corporate services responsibilities (≈ 15 %).
  • Serve as a liaison for learning and development programs, ensuring managers and employees understand enterprise‑wide protocols without directly building or coordinating programs.

  • Proven ability to advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and promotions.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units across geographies.
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance, employment standards, and diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
  • Previous experience in mid‑size companies or fast‑growing organizations.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills & Experience
