Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. Our Organizational Development & Learning (OD&L) team partners with clients across the organization to design and deliver leadership and learning programs, develop talent strategies, and enhance employee experiences that support our future-focused workforce. We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant, Leadership Development that has a passion and proven track record in delivering leadership development programming with measurable success. They will enhance the leadership capabilities, culture, and accountability through design and delivery of leadership development programs.

They will support as well as partner with our colleagues across the organization to continuously improve the overall employee experience through leaders.

    What will I be doing?

    As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing and executing leadership development programs that strengthen our leadership pipeline and culture. You will be both a strategic advisor and hands-on executor, responsible for delivering programs that drive measurable impact.

  • Review, enhance, and lead end to end execution of leadership development programs, including design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct needs analysis by partnering with HR and business leaders. As a subject matter expert in leadership competencies and frameworks, provide actionable and innovative leadership learning solutions aligned with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements to address leadership performance gaps.
  • Apply project management and change management principles to ensure successful implementation of programs. Serve as a program lead, managing the output of other partners while balancing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a Leadership Development Strategy and competency frameworks with cross functional teams, supporting succession planning, leadership pipeline growth, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Through the lens of leader accountability, develop and execute integrated talent development strategies across the employee lifecycle, focusing on engagement, retention, and growth of top talent.
  • Proactively collaborate with HR colleagues (Inclusion & Engagement, Business Partners, Total Rewards, HR Technology, Communications, to secure support and alignment in integrating leadership and talent initiatives into broader people strategies and culture transformation initiatives.
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes to deliver high quality learning experiences
