The Opportunity
The Manager, Compensation is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and governance of broad‑based, variable compensation, and equity programs across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards, this role plays a critical part in ensuring compensation programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business and talent strategies. The role will lead key operational processes including job architecture, market pricing, annual compensation cycles, equity plan administration, and supporting the public-company compensation disclosures.
Responsibilities
Administer and support the company’s broad‑based compensation programs, including base salary structures, job architecture, and market pricing.
Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including merit, incentive, and equity programs, ensuring accurate calculations and timely execution.
Manage equity plan administration, including grants, vesting, forfeitures, and coordination with external plan administrators and internal stakeholders.
Support public company compensation disclosures, including insider trading reports, proxy filings, and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with Legal and Finance.
Ensure compliance with applicable securities, tax, and employment regulations related to compensation and equity programs.
Assist in the administration and ongoing management of the Sales Incentive Plan, including plan design support, audience eligibility, calculations, and payout processes.
Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analyses to support compensation program design and off‑cycle compensation decisions.
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance on offers, promotions, and internal equity considerations.
Prepare and deliver compensation analytics, reporting, and insights to senior leadership to inform decision‑making.
Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to ensure data accuracy and process alignment.
Participate in equity and compensation audits, internal controls, and SOX‑related activities as required.
Continuously evaluate compensation practices to ensure they support pay equity, transparency, and scalability.
Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compensation and equity administration.

Experience
5–7 years of progressive experience in compensation and total rewards, preferably within a public company environment.
Demonstrated experience with broad‑based compensation programs and equity plan administration.
Exposure to or experience with public company disclosures, including insider trading reporting and proxy filings, strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with compensation tools and HRIS platforms preferred.
Ability to partner effectively across functions and communicate complex compensation concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field; CCP or progress toward certification is a plus.
