Job Description
HR Director leads the overall Human Resources strategy, overseeing employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and compliance, aligning HR initiatives with business goals to foster a positive culture. The HR Director manages HR budgets, and provides strategic guidance to hiring managers and the leadership team.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Partner with managers and executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, ensuring a strong people-focused culture.
Policy & Compliance:
Create, implement, and enforce HR policies, ensuring adherence to provincial employment laws.
Employee Relations:
Handle complex employee issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, and foster positive employee engagement.
Training & Development:
Work with L&D team to help build employee skills and career paths.
HR Operations:
Manage the HR department's budget, staff, HR metrics/reporting
Qualifications
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Proven ability in strategic planning and implementation.
Experience in conflict resolution and employee advocacy.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; or 10+ years of HR experience
Significant progressive experience in HR leadership roles.
Certification in Mental Health First Aid

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD 110K - 120K per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
