Manager,Employee Relations
We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Manager, Employee Relations. The Manager, Employee Relations will be responsible for diligently conducting above-property Internal Reviews ensuring fairness and confidentiality. This role will manage an ongoing case-load of issues that must be reviewed in a timely manner ensuring proper communication and alignment with key stakeholders such as the Area Directors People & Culture and the VPs People & Culture.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing Employee Relations Excellence
- Leads above-property Internal Review process and resolution of complex and/or high-risk employee complaints with fairness and confidentiality in a timely manner.
- Keep all key stakeholders updated on findings and aligned on proposed next steps to resolution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Area Directors P&C on employee relations trends and potential risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist Director Employee Relations & Policies and Area Directors People & Culture in identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on case load to Director Employee Relations.
- Assist with platform migration from Convercent to EQS ensuring that the system is set up to deliver reporting, diagnostic and analytic capabilities.
- Assist with updating and maintaining a comprehensive global People & Culture Operations policy framework that supports compliance, equity, and organizational values.
- Collaborate with field People & Culture leaders, Legal & Compliance to ensure policies are aligned with regulatory changes and business needs.
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant employee relations case load management and resolution.
- CHRP designation is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Ethics Reporting platforms (e.g. Convercent, Navex, EQS).
- Trusted Advisor – Integrity & Confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 CAD
This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario.
