Rooms Division Supervisor

The Rooms Division Supervisor will primarily focus on responding to guest reviews and using this information to proactively prevent future guest complaints while helping teach the team how to turn transactional guest interactions into unique guest experiences that reflect the Union brand.

Reporting to the Front Office Housekeeper or designate, you will:
- Lead the Housekeeping team in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to hotel brand standards.
- Conduct daily room inspections for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and compliance with quality and brand expectations.
- Deliver daily Housekeeping morning briefings, communicating priorities, VIP arrivals, safety reminders, and operational updates.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and on‑the‑job training to team members to support performance, service excellence, and professional development.
- Review and process team member timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify, document, and report maintenance or condition issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and protect hotel assets.
- Assist the Front Office Team with operational coverage and guest support as needed, maintaining consistent service across the Rooms Division.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of a Department Head or General Manager, ensuring all guest issues and complaints are resolved professionally, promptly, and with empathy.
- Coordinate preparation for VIP guests, influencers, and special arrivals, ensuring guest rooms, amenities, and public areas exceed expectations.
- Maintain a polished, clean, and professional appearance of the lobby, front entrance, public areas, elevators, and corridors in alignment with brand standards.
- Support lobby café operations and assist with lobby activations and guest engagement initiatives as required.
- Oversee the stocking, organization, and visual merchandising of the hotel Market Place, ensuring availability, cleanliness, and brand‑compliant presentation.
- Participate actively in department meetings, cross‑functional team activities, and hotel events to support overall operational success.
- Communicate effectively with all departments—including Maintenance, Front Office, and Food & Beverage—to coordinate service delivery and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure all guest requests, incidents, and operational updates are properly logged and communicated in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Monitor adherence to safety procedures, cleanliness protocols, and hygiene standards across all areas of responsibility.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational efficiencies and proposing enhancements to guest service and colleague workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.
