Housekeeper – Private Luxury Residence

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of a luxury private residence. This role requires high standards of care, discretion, and consistency across living spaces, guest areas, and service rooms. The ideal candidate is familiar with premium household environments and follows structured cleaning and laundry standards, including proper use of professional-grade products and garment-care methods.

Daily & Weekly Cleaning

Clean and sanitize washrooms, bedrooms, closets, living areas, corridors, and common spaces

Dust (high and low), vacuum, mop, clean glass, mirrors, doors, frames, and fixtures

Maintain kitchen, bar, dining, basement, gym, theater, and guest areas

Restock toiletries, towels, and household supplies; maintain inventory

Care for plants according to schedule

Laundry & Garment Care

Sort and launder household, staff, and specialty items by fabric and color

Follow garment-care standards using appropriate detergents (e.g., Woolite for darks, Oxi Clean/bleach for whites)

Steam and iron clothing, linens, and delicate items

Handle suits, blazers, coats, shoes, and specialty items with care

Coordinate dry cleaning when required

Organization & Standards

Maintain shoe closets, mudroom, laundry rooms, and storage areas

Ensure all spaces meet required cleanliness and presentation standards

Complete additional household tasks as assigned

Previous housekeeping experience in a private residence, luxury home, or similar environment preferred

Strong attention to detail and organization

Knowledge of proper cleaning products and laundry techniques

Discreet, reliable, and professional

Physically able to perform cleaning duties

Must be able to fully communicate in English
