Your responsibilities will include:- Extracting data and producing reports and data visualisations to support decision making of competency committees as it relates to learner progress in a CBME curriculum
- Producing tables, data visualisations and other analyses of resident and fellow registration data to inform PGME activities, including research and program evaluation
- Interpreting evaluation and enrolment data and preparing charts and analytical reports for presentations to stakeholders
- Undertaking extractions and analysis from registration and evaluation systems for use in strategic analysis and for the creation and validation of Medical Trainee Day (MTD) reports for partner hospitals and Ministry of Health and Long term care
- Assisting with analysis of survey results, analysis and reporting on key performance measures
- Identifying system deficiencies and recommend areas of enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Analytics, Economics or social science or related discipline, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years of related experience in an applied quantitative research role in higher education, teaching hospital, or comparable environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of data analysis methodology, including demonstrated ability to apply query techniques and clean/code data
- Experience preparing and interpreting statistical and descriptive reports
- Experience producing, analysing and interpreting performance indicators
- Experience supporting the development and analysis of surveys
- Experience automating data workflows and optimizing report production in R
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and data visualisation software (POWER BI, R Markdown and ggplot2)
- Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and query techniques
- Strong database management, spreadsheet and presentation design skills
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment and exercise tact, discretion, flexibility and sound judgement
- Knowledge of postgraduate medical education and/or health education databases and statistical packages (POWER, MEDSIS, SPSS)
