Toronto IBI is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill in part-time and full-time Instructor Therapist positions in the North York area. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in a home, school/daycare setting, or at our center-based locations while employing IBI/ABA teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist. Candidates may be required to travel throughout the GTA to meet the needs of a diverse clientele.
Successful candidates must collaborate with other team members in the consistent implementation of a student's behavioural programs and procedures, maintain regular communication with parents as required, and participate in scheduled team meetings and training conferences as required.
Successful candidates should possess:
- A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle or another reliable method of transportation (when travel is required)
- Experience as an Instructor Therapist (IT) implementing ABA/IBI programming is an asset (training will be provided as required)
ABA/Autism-related Diploma/Certificate is an asset.
Successful candidates are required to complete a criminal background check (with Vulnerable Sector).
