Responsibilities
- Track, analyze and present the quarterly rehabilitation budget expense reports to policy holders.
- Direct contact/meeting with policyholders, union representatives, plan members, physicians and other health care professional.
- Develop, monitor and implement innovative vocational rehabilitations services and goal orientated rehabilitations plans for claimants in receipt of short and long term disability benefits.
- Coordinate the services of external rehabilitation and medical management providers.
- Contribute to the overall profitability of Group Disability by facilitating timely return to work for claimants.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide reports outlining recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings as part of the team representing Manulife Financial.
- Deliver web based presentations to National Rehab team on the topic of Effective Communication.
