Overview

The General Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is focused on improving the quality of care and access to appropriate care within the mental health and addictions system.

The role is a part-time, contract Research Analyst position reporting to the Research Manager, working closely with the Principal Investigator to support recruitment and data collection, data management, and preparation of data for analyses, as well as related research administration tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in recruitment and screening of study participants, administer questionnaires, collect data, and maintain research documentation according to applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Data entry, support the maintenance of databases, and assist with the preparation of data for analysis, literature searches, abstracts, presentations and manuscripts.
  • Perform other research administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related field, plus 1 year of relevant research experience. Previous experience in clinical programs, mental health or clinical research is preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Capture Systems such as REDCap is an asset; proficiency with Microsoft Office, online academic search engines (e.g., PsycINFO, Pub Med, Med Line), database software packages and basic analyses using SPSS; strong data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral/written) and organizational skills; ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team; detail-oriented with analytical thinking; ability to multitask and meet program deadlines; ability to work effectively in diverse settings.
