As the Investment Advisor you are responsible for ensuring clients have a smooth transition to the National Branch.

• Responsible for successfully completing all client documentation transferred from the original branch
• Adhere to branch protocol when providing investment advice to clients to help meet investment objectives
• Manage existing client relationships and actively promote the products and services
• Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies by remaining up to date with regulatory rules and trading activities
• Display a high level of integrity and professionalism in all dealings with internal and external clients
• Actively share knowledge and experience to enhance development of the team and participate in meetings

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
• Excellent communication skills & client service focused
• Superior time management & organizational skills
• A clear understanding of all industry and firm compliance regulations
• Strong self‑management and results orientation as the role has many administrative duties
• Proficiency in Scotia Mc Leod  trading and account management systems considered an asset
