Job OverviewThe Operations Officer I provides operational and regulatory reporting support within a financial services operations team. This role focuses on Electronic Funds Transfer Reporting (EFTR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) related activities, ensuring reporting accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Working within a large operations environment, the Operations Officer will support day-to-day processing activities, reporting functions, and operational workflows while maintaining service quality and adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Regulatory Reporting- Provide operational support for EFTR (Electronic Fund Transfer Reporting) regulatory reporting activities
- Ensure reports are filed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute reporting functions related to AML and payments processing
- Support the consolidation and aggregation of regulatory reporting data
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, workflow improvements, and process enhancements
- Escalate operational issues or processing discrepancies to appropriate internal partners
- Perform data entry, enrichment, and payments transaction processing activities
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet operational productivity and service requirements
- Execute tasks accurately and in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive operational and client-related data
- Identify risks and escape non-standard or high-risk transactions or activities as required
- Secondary Education / High School Diploma required
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in AML operations, data entry/enrichment, regulatory reporting, client onboarding/KYC, or payments transaction processing
