Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Our client, a highly respected real estate investment and development platform with a significant North American portfolio, is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its corporate finance team.

This role is ideal for a CPA coming from a Big 4 audit background (Real Estate, Asset Management, Financial Services, or Investment Funds) who is looking to transition into an institutional investment environment with exposure to fund-level reporting, capital strategy, and complex consolidations.

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reporting packages in accordance with IFRS
• Consolidate multi-entity investment structures and analyze financial performance across portfolios
• Support fund reporting, board materials, and investor deliverables
• Review monthly financial reporting from third-party operators and ensure completeness and accuracy
• Manage investment onboarding and disposition processes, including review of entity structures, fund flows, and closing documentation
• Monitor lender compliance, governance requirements, and internal controls (including SOX testing)
• Partner with portfolio management and capital markets teams to assess liquidity and capital needs
• Support refinancing, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
• Drive process improvements across reporting and intercompany workflows
• Assist with external audits and coordinate with Big 4 firms

• 3+ years of progressive experience, ideally combining Big 4 audit and industry experience
• Strong technical IFRS knowledge and consolidation experience
• Exposure to real estate, asset management, or investment fund structures is highly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, One Stream, or other consolidation/reporting systems is an asset.
