Finance Consultant – 6 Month Contract About the Opportunity

• Working with the Director of Finance; gathering and analyzing input from various departments to develop new accounting policies primarily related to specific areas of IFRS
• Researching latest IFRS developments and preparing IFRS position papers
• Financial modeling and performing analytics to assess the financial statement impact
• Provide accurate and timely information for reporting to SEC parent and OSFI
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process
• Deliver insightful and timely management information and analysis to the executive team
• Maintaining an internal control environment to ensure compliance with internal, external and SOX audits

• CPA, CA with 3-5 years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting, regulatory and taxation issues
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure while ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
• Demonstrated people management and development skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

$50 / Hour
