Senior Financial Analyst – Technology, Loblaw Digital

Join Loblaw Digital, a leader in eCommerce, to drive the Financial Planning and Analysis for our digital transformation journey. Based in Downtown Toronto, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build financial roadmaps, analyze performance, and support strategic technology investments.

• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support digital initiatives.
• Perform financial analysis and variance analysis to monitor platform performance and identify opportunities.
• Partner with Technology teams to create budgets and financial roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on product development, technology investments, and digital strategy.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to drive financial success.
• Conduct business analytics and performance monitoring to proactively provide strategic guidance to digital leadership.

• University degree in Business, Analytics or Finance (CPA or MBA an asset).
• 2-3 years of relevant business experience within a Finance and/or Retail environment (FP&A an asset).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with data visualization tools is an asset.

• Experience in business partnering and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership.
• Enthusiastic learner able to thrive in a fast‑paced changing environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proactive individual who can manage multiple projects to strict deadlines.
• Able to collaborate in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
