Job Summary

As a Senior Treasury Analyst reporting directly to the Global Director, Treasury, you will be a key member of the team and will be exposed to and/or will take ownership of a variety of Corporate Treasury functions including global cash management and forecasting, FX exposures, investments analysis, liquidity reporting, treasury operations, banking portal administration and payment processing. The Senior Treasury Analyst will also be involved in numerous special projects related to treasury process improvements including implementation of a Treasury Management System.

85k-105k per annum based on experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Gather, review and consolidate daily cash positions across multiple banks in multiple jurisdictions, and forecast daily cash requirements of the global operations
  • Execute all forms of electronic payments, which includes wires, ACH/ EFT, Bill pay, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze credit card activity and process payments
  • Manage and maintain the internal bank database system particularly bank account details, ASO and cheque signatory listings.
  • Prepare bank and other financial institution documentation for account opening and compliance.
  • Act as an online bank account administrator and monitor user access
  • Track movement of major global transactions including the management of cash pooling/concentration arrangements
  • Provide strong support to the Treasury team in the implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS) and take a lead role in performing data input/migration and bank connectivity processes
  • Perform investment analysis, review holdings and their performances against benchmarks across multiple entities/geographies and highlight any overlap in risk exposures
  • Digitalize the investment tracking and reporting process across multiple entities, and support the Treasury team in opening new investment accounts as needed
  • Review and analyze bank interest income and bank service charges to ensure alignment with agreed upon agreements
  • Support the Treasury team in preparation of internal presentations to various stakeholders
  • Evaluate FX exposures and track FX activity across multiple units, and advise on natural offsets
  • Act as a back-up to the Treasury Manager and Treasury Analyst during their absence
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in treasury processes
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Degree with emphasis on Business Administration / Finance / Accounting
  • 3 – 5 years' experience in a Corporate Treasury environment is preferred
  • CFA, CPA or CTP designation or actively working towards these designations
  • Experience working with a Treasury Management System (TMS) is preferred
  • Project Management and Financial Modeling experience is preferred
  • Experience working for a global entity is advantageous
  • Familiarity with use of a Bloomberg terminal (helpful)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint and Outlook skills
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Detail oriented with focus on accuracy
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, multi-task, deadline-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, SAP or Navision a plus
