Base pay range
CA $70.00/hr - CA $80.00/hr
Executive Recruiter | Finance & AccountingThis is a 5 month contract
Role: The Director, Financial Reporting is responsible for leading the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of the company’s consolidated financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
About the Opportunity
- Manage the IFRS month/quarter-end close process, including MD&A and related note disclosers
- Ensure SOX requirements are met and internal control processes are in place
- Assisting VP FP&A with forecasting and budgeting
- Responsible for managing the payroll team
- Manage the intercompany accounting process among multiple entities
- Support the audit (internal and external) audit processes
- Supporting financial M&A integration team
- Ad-hoc requests.
About You
- CPA designation with 10+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience working within a public company with a multinational business
- Experience with financial system and SOX implementation
- Excellent accounting and analytical abilities
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
