Accountant, Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

A growing financial services organization is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. About the Role

Reporting to a senior finance leader, this position sits within a lean finance team and supports a range of core accounting, financial analysis, and planning activities. You’ll gain insight into multiple aspects of the business while working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processes
• Contribute to the automation and improvement of financial workflows and reporting
• Assist with collections processes, including both direct and third-party arrangements
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis tied to business initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as operations and risk-related functions to support financial accuracy and alignment

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a financial services or regulated industry environment
• Progress toward, or completion of, a professional accounting designation (CPA preferred)
• Strong foundational accounting knowledge and comfort working with financial systems
• Experience or interest in financial analysis, process improvement, and automation
• Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with stakeholders across the business
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team setting
