Our client is an international mining and materials company focused on supporting the global transition to clean energy. With operations around the world and strategic expansion projects across North America.

• Lead the preparation and filing of consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, MD&A, and regulatory reports in compliance with IFRS and local standards.
• Manage the external audit process, including coordination with auditors and resolution of inquiries.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports for senior management and the Board to support strategic decision‑making.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting collaboration, development, and high performance.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and compliance.
• Stay updated on accounting and regulatory developments and communicate their impact to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation required
• 5+ years auditing mining companies at a public accounting firm
• 5+ years progressive experience in financial reporting and accounting, preferably in publicly traded mining companies
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Canadian accounting standards, and TSX reporting requirements
• Experience managing external audits and interacting with auditors
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
• Proficient in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel, reporting software)
