A diversified organization in a capital-intensive operating environment is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join its finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making across both corporate and operational teams. the Role

Reporting to a senior finance leader, this position partners closely with leadership and site-level teams to deliver forward-looking analysis and actionable insights. The role spans budgeting, forecasting, project evaluation, and performance reporting, with exposure to large-scale development initiatives and ongoing operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models across operational and corporate functions
  • Consolidate inputs from multiple teams into cohesive financial outlooks, identifying key risks and opportunities
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate large-scale projects, capital initiatives, and long-term investments
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of evolving operational plans and assumptions
  • Support capital planning, funding analysis, and liquidity forecasting during periods of growth and transition
  • Prepare financial analysis and materials for leadership, board-level, and external stakeholder discussions
  • Deliver monthly reporting packages, including variance analysis and performance insights
  • Enhance FP&A processes, models, and reporting tools to improve accuracy, scalability, and decision support
What You Bring
  • A CPA designation or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or an industrial operating environment
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience working with ERP or reporting systems
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
