The role is anticipated to primarily take the lead around all performance controlling activities for the project business of our customer service business unit in a proactive manner. Suitable candidates will be able to:

What your day‑to‑day will look like:- Responsible for annual three‑year budget planning and monthly forecasting process (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements)
- Project/business KPI analysis including but not limited to FC vs. ACT deviation and root cause analysis, project EAC development, trend identification, ad‑hoc analysis and result presentation etc, providing meaningful and accurate financial information.
- Prepare insightful standard and ad‑hoc financial reports and executive commentary on P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow performance to include storyline, risks and opportunities, and performance analysis.
- Support month end closing activities ensuring accuracy of books and records
- Support FPM lead and respective topics on customer service BU level, regarding internal programs and target achievement strategies
- Close interaction and alignment with relevant business stakeholders, primarily Commercial Project Managers (CPMs) and commercial business head(s)
- Support and collaborate with HQ on standard and ad‑hoc requests to meet deadlines timely.
- Support cross‑BU harmonization and the transformation into a digital controlling environment by identifying improvement potentials and actively supporting the implementation of broader initiatives
- Complete month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings tasks, which include but are not limited to: KPIs tracking, monthly journal entries, and other required reporting deliverables.
- Leverage automation with purpose by strategically using digital tools, advanced analytics and insights to enhance financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting to increase productivity and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Strong financial accounting, business acumen and advanced Excel skills. SAC knowledge is a plus.
- +4 years of working experience in a finance related function, preferably commercial project management or performance controlling.
- Eagerness to learn and grow with a solution‑oriented mindset and can‑do mentality alongside an experienced team
- Ability to gather, structure, consolidate and analyze large amounts of financial information and condense these into executive messages
- Enthusiastic and fast learner with the ability to break down complex assignments.
- Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Analytical skills, detail‑oriented working style and structured approach to new topics
- Team oriented; builds constructive and effective relationships across organizations and hierarchies
- Resilient and adaptable, maintaining focus in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
The pay range for this position in Lexington, NC is $111,282 - $130,662 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The pay range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $122,298 - $143,718 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The pay range for this position in Toronto, Canada is CAD
82,000 - CAD
109,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
