The RoleITD is seeking a highly capable Assistant Controller to work closely with Senior Controller to support and strengthen our accounting and finance function. This is a hands‑on role that works closely with the Controller and leadership team to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable financial operations. The role includes ownership of weekly payroll, oversight of core accounting functions, and involvement in strategic financial initiatives.
This is a fully on-site role, Monday to Friday.
- Own and support all aspects of the accounting function, including financial reporting, controls, operational finance, tax coordination, and audit readiness;
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assist with accounting across multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations
- Build, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls
- Oversee weekly payroll
, including accuracy, compliance, and timely processing - Oversee AR, AP, expense reimbursements, and the monthly close process
- Assist with inventory accounting end‑to‑end, including valuation, reconciliation, reserves, and COGS analysis
- Assist where relevant external tax advisors on income tax, sales tax, and regulatory filings
- Maintain and improve financial and accounting systems to support growth and complexity
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A and department leads
- Analyze financial results, margins, costs, inventory performance, and working capital trends
- Identify opportunities to improve gross margin, cash flow, and operational scalability
- Support supply and demand forecasting with a focus on inventory efficiency
- Build financial models, analyses, and presentations for leadership decision‑making
- Assist with non‑dilutive funding initiatives, audits, and financing or strategic transactions as needed
- Experience working for a manufacturing company is a huge asset
- 4+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Hands‑on experience preparing full financial statements
- Strong understanding of accounting internal controls and audit support
- Confident communicator who can engage professionally at all levels
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership

$80,000 to $110,000
